Looking for a summer internship?

The Setti Warren campaign is looking for highly motivated interns who are eager to take an active role in local politics. Interns will become familiar with the structure of local politics and learn what it takes to be successful in all aspects of a grassroots campaign effort.

Interns will have the opportunity to:

• Canvass door to door
• Organize and lead neighborhood visibilities
• Draft letters
• Conduct research
• Plan for and participate in neighborhood events and forums

All interns will also participate in a regular “Campaign Clinic” where they will learn basics of grassroots campaigning from successful professionals:

• Polling
• Messaging
• Targeting
• Field Organizing
• Media – Paid and Earned
• Endorsements

Internships are available for a variety of schedules. Interns working full-time will have an opportunity to take on more responsibility and be exposed to more aspects of campaigning. The minimum commitment for part-time internships is ten hours per week.
